I love Ho Chi Minh City. Maybe it’s the energy. The city is stylish, intense, colorful, vibrant, sensual, unpredictable, damn hot, ambitious, and on the rise. So are it’s people. I can also think of reasons not to like the place: chaos, noise, pushy hawkers, dodgy people, total traffic nightmare and no subway, Skytrain or other such manner to rise above (or below) it all. These are things that make me dislike a lot of places, but for some reason, here they don’t bug me so much. And in the case of the traffic, it is even rather fascinating.
In this post I’d like to share one of my favourite places to visit in Ho Chi Minh, the French colonial built Central Post Office and of course wearing a floral Batik Dress by Herbert Victoria from the the Land of Smile Collection. This dress is just perfect for a hot summer’s day and the bright yellow makes me feel enthusiastic, confident and optimistic. What I love about the bright number is the green floral motif which draws inspiration from Thailand’s friendly culture. Perfect for travelling, a summer outdoor party or for those who want to radiate in a unique dress.
Let me know what you think about the dress. Have a wonderful week ahead!
