Hey guys, I hope you’re all having a great start to December!
While it’s not that cold enough here to wrap our necks in huge sheaths of fabric, simply draping a scarf around your shoulders and cinching it with a belt makes it a great accessory. As observed on the runway at Burberry last year in spring, belting a scarf around the waist can transform an ensemble in the chicest way. I find that belting a print scarf with little bit of detail can add excitement to any outfit. It also makes a scarf look polished enough to wear all day rather than just something you are taking off as soon as you get in from the cold. As seen I’m wearing a green brocade scarf as the focal point of my look that I let drape over my sequin mini skirt. I really love experimenting with different looks, mixing and matching different textures such as sequins, the furry cardi and shiny brocade that I’ve put together. Not to mention it’s officially the festive season, I’m really hot on making my outfits shine or decorative as I can. Happy December guys 🙂
