I’ve been obsessed with wearing sequins recently. May be a bit too much. Last Saturday I was ever so thrilled sparkle in my green sequin number dressed as a SPYfor Halloween. Now moving on I really feel that the sparkly aesthetic shouldn’t be reserved just just for strictly-style ball gowns these days: the way I would wear them is with a bit of a laid back attitude. To keep the look chic and not costume, I’d use sequins sparingly—a little glitz goes a long way. Sequin pieces can be so wearable for everyday by pairing it with muted basics like a structured, black leather jacket and black oversize sunnies. Wearing neutrals with sequins will keep your style classic and preppy. In this post I’d like to share with you some of my outfit ideas based on how I would wear sequins for the day and night.
