Why You Should Have A Destination Wedding! Come On. You Only Live Once!

Are you day dreaming about a Destination Wedding on remote beach or awe inspiring mountain top? Read This First.

Any couple who has planned a wedding knows that it can be stressful to plan and create one of the most memorable days of your life. The truth is most brides are in a constant state of stress from the time of their engagement until the wedding day. Let’s just say there’s a good reason as to why more couples are opting for Destination Weddings and that reason is, less stress.

There are heaps to consider when you decide to tie the knot. Who will be at your wedding party? What dress will you wear? Which awkward friend or person will you be seated beside which awkward family member? However, the most important part of planning your big day might just be deciding where your wedding will be.

As a former beach bride, I can tell you that all the hassle of planning a Destination Wedding for that special day is well worth it. Bright blue skies and sun-warmed temperatures, who wouldn’t want the beach as the perfect backdrop for their big day!

Having just attended a Destination Wedding at the OCEAN BALI, I am compelled to share with you how wonderful it can be to vacate and celebrate your marriage. Without further ado, here are great reasons to say “I do” overseas!

Less Planning, Less Stress

The only thing you really have to do is choose a destination. Once you book your flight tickets and accommodations, the rest is taken care of by the resort. Most resorts offer wedding packages that include everything you could possibly want in a tropical beach, which includes, a makeup artist, flowers, you name it! All you have to do is show up the day before the rehearsals.

More Affordable

In the UK, the average wedding costs around £27, 000 ( 37,000 USD). Whereas Destination Weddings can cost between $6K-$15K, which includes a week long stay, meals, activities, and your wedding ceremony. Flying during the low season and booking in advance can also cut costs.

A destination wedding that takes hours of travel to attend and a little bit of extra cash on your guests part, it’s going to weed out many people from attending. Look at this as a blessing. The people who make the journey to attend your wedding will be the most important people in your lives. You’ll have a chance to spend quality time bonding with those closest to you, as you celebrate one of the important days of your life. I can’t really imagine a better excuse to flee to a hot destination.

Your guests will never forget your wedding since it’s also a holiday!
Not only will your wedding be unforgettable to you, but your guests will only remember the truly special weddings, where they too felt like it was a special time for them and believe me, no one ever forgets a holiday. Destination weddings give your guests the opportunity to escape their 9 to 5. Whether it’s a weekend break or a week, it gives them something to look forward to. It’s even better if your wedding destination is where most of your guests have never visited, they will be even more pumped up about attending and might even stay on a few extra days to explore.

The Photos!

You have total bragging rights because the part of the allure of a destination wedding is the actual destination and showing it off in your beautiful wedding photography. You’ll have plenty of Ig worthy pics!
