Winter is just around the corner and that means that the season is going to bring about some challenges in a girl’s way of dressing. As much as I don’t like the cold, it doesn’t mean I’m going to hide all of my dresses away until the temperature goes up a little bit. There are ways to tackle seasonal dressing such as creative layering, choosing long sleeves, thick fabrics and saying yes to tights and socks. One of my favourite things about winter dressing is that I get to glam up for all the festivities. For my first Glam Winter wishlist I’ve drawn inspiration from the Victorian trend, but not in a dark Gothic sense that’s been seen on the runways. I’ve taken more of a vibrant, regal direction, but of course without looking like queen Victoria. Adding a dose of block colour such as true red and teamed with colourful embellished accessories, is certain to give a romantic lace dress more of a majestic edge. Not to mention it would keep you looking cheerful.
