Hi ladies! Just a brief update here. I’ve been in South Korea for some time exploring fast paced Seoul. It is actually my first time here and I’m already having great experiences. In this post I’d like to share with you one of the must see places in Seoul. I visited Bukchon Hanok Village which is a rather charming traditional village in Samcheongdong. Situated by Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace, the village is said to be dated back the 14th century. Filled with narrow streets lined with restored traditional homes, it makes a pleasant visit and offers an insight to the cultural side of Seoul.  Most of the homes are on an elevated location and the backdrop mountain view helps to keep the over-all traditional ambience. Apart from everything cultural about this neighbourhood, it is such a lovely place for an afternoon stroll.  Most will find themselves admiring the elegant shop window displays, vibrant wall art or perhaps walking into a quirky café for some tea. Seoul is incredibly developed, so it was nice to see a city that has kept its tradition against the modern development and the view of giwa (tiled roof) of Korean traditional houses against the background of skyscrapers. I can’t wait to share you all more of my wonderful experiences of Seoul.
Thank you for reading and have a lovely week ahead!
