Here I am in the Maldives on my belated honeymoon. Better late than never right? It’s the second day on our beautiful resort island and I can tell you it is as picturesque as most say. The untouched white sandy beaches, the clear blue waters, and calm atmosphere make the perfect setting for honeymooners. Well then consider a honeymoon in The Maldives!
There’s a bit to think about when planning that dream honeymoon of yours. Where do we want to go for our honeymoon? Do we want to relax or do we want to explore? Since we were already exhausted with all the wedding planning, choosing a destination to relax was a no-brainer! We then googled and received some advice on best honeymoon destinations and after some back and forth, we happily decided to go with the Maldives.
Here are my top 5 reasons why the Maldives is the perfect honeymoon destination.

The Maldives is called “the tropical paradise” for reasons. Its beauty is none like other. The Maldives is a tropical country with separated islands, which are separated by the sea. Each island is surrounded by stunning white sandy beaches.

White sandy beaches, turquoise sea, fantastic food, so quiet and relaxed, wonderful relaxing areas with soft seats on the seas edge, great service and excellent accommodation will make your stay super chill.
Activities
Activities here almost always center around the ocean. Located on one of the largest lagoons in the Maldives, get your adrenaline rush with tailor-made signature experiences like scuba diving, snorkeling and parasailing.
It won’t last forever…
There are growing concerns that the island is sinking and will eventually disappear in the next 30 years or so. I really hope that doesn’t happen. Beauty ownership of “paradise on earth” where there is a unique culture, class service quality, or land on Earth is about to disappear are the reasons why the Maldives should be visited once in a lifetime.
