I love dressing for cold weather. It’s really nice to layer up and shop for that coat. The thing is recently I’ve been stepping out of door all wrapped up warm for winter and only to find out it’s still very warm! Talk about a slow winter. Fortunately it’s still mild enough to go out and play around with all my sweaters. Most of them haven’t seen the sight of daylight for quite some time and are dying to be worn. I love print. It’s loud and when worn strategically it can be ultra flattering. Most times I adore the idea of putting together print and block colour only because I love mixing things up. Prints are such a great way to add some life into your wardrobe and not to mention wearing black all the time gets old for me. For this look, I’ve paired my hounds-tooth print sweater with a red pleated skirt to give it a pop of colour which is perfect for a casual evening out. I’m also wearing dark red boots to tone down the red skirt.
