I absolutely love the energy that Swing dance brings and everything that goes with it: the buzzing crowd, the fun filled music and the swing era fashion, accessories, hair and make-up. On Saturday at the Taipei Huashan cultural park, Swing enthusiasts got their swing on. Attendees brought back the ‘big band era’ by wearing vintage and retro style clothes. It was interesting to see people’s take on this era. Looks ranged from classical pin up styles that took a good 2-hours to achieve (hairdo) and for most party-goers came with fresh looks with a hint of the past.
