If there’s one dress every girl should have in her closet, it’s the classic LBD. Versatile and flattering, and whether you find an inexpensive version or an investment piece, the little black dress deserves a place in your closet. I’ve officially put away my black strapless romper that I’ve worn all summer for a LBD. I’m going to miss my summer rompers but I’m really looking forward to throwing on my black dresses for fall and winter. You really can’t go wrong in black. Not only that, black imbues contradictory sensory associations. It is severe and seductive, demure, posh and discreet, austere and chic. Got some bulges to hide? Just put on a LBD. It does wonders in making my hips look slimmer and obliques look as toned as if I’ve spent a month doing crunches. I usually opt for a short number but, I thought I’d try one from H&M that almost hugs my entire figure from head to toe. Wearing a loooong T shirt style body-con dress (first time ever), I’ve teamed it up with hot pink shoes and a pair of pink earrings to spice up the outfit.
