As great as it can be to jet off to an exotic destination for the long weekend, I do think that sometimes taking a quick getaway can be more exhausting than restorative. I’m talking packing, traffic and rushing to the Terminal! Like every year Taiwan celebrates The Dragon Boat festival which means four days off, enjoying the sunny weather (if it ever appears) and watching the festive boat races (from TV). So this year I chose to spend the extra downtime in the comfort of my own home or even at a local spot.
