Comic Heroes

Have you seen the latest ‘Batman VS Superman’ movie? To many it was a stink bucket of disappointment and to others it was totally awesome.  To be honest I took pleasure in seeing the most iconic comic heroes fly around in their costumes! Wonder woman played by super hot Gal Gadot looked super cool and injected some much needed vitality and femininity into the movie. Ok this is not a movie review. So I’ve been seeing a lot of the comic hero trend popping up recently. Punchy lines such as “Pow!” and “Kaboom” can be seen everywhere from skirts, jackets, tops and sweaters.
I love it when fashion and comic book art meet. They certainly share an exciting relationship. Comic book illustrations have fueled the imagination of many fashion labels, from high-end designers such as  Chiara Ferragni’s collection with the knee high boots with stars and many others. From Disney to The Powerpuff Girls, to Marvel comics, there’s surely something in your closet that fits the comic hero trend.
What to look for:
Shiny or metallic fabrics, patch work, primary colours (red, yellow blue) and outlined designs.
How to wear:
Style with  a strong shoulder jacket, and metallic heels for a power heroine look.
Keep it casual in the shades of blue and red to make it look more comic.
