Lights, glitz and glamour. Macau is an intriguing city full of casinos and known as the Las Vegas of the east. Walking into the casinos I was amazed by the extravagance by it all. Especially the themed Italian town where you can ride a boat along the canal. Although I was quite surprised to see that the casinos weren’t full and crowded. On the other side of Macau, there lies a former Portuguese colony where I enjoyed strolling along the old streets, and seeing the old colonial buildings and ruins.
