An old pearl of wisdom says ‘never wear jewelry to the beach.’
But for those of us whose personal style is as analogous to jewelry as summer is to the shore, this without a doubt presents a conundrum. I thought it would be fun to swim with accessories while snorkeling. Turns out I found myself chasing for my sunglasses in the water! Subsequently my necklace somehow unclasps itself and I’m moving quickly to locate it. Luckily the water was clear, I could see my necklace laying on the soft silky sand. Was it worth it? I think i’ll just leave my accessories on shore before I take a dip.
